A Toy Story Themed Birthday Celebration at Pixie Forest, Festival Mall in Alabang

Time flew so fast and before I knew it, I was a couple of months ahead from Charly’s 1st Birthday. I was excited at first, but when I thought about the budget, it took me a while to find a venue. Good thing Matthew has been very helpful with this and after some discussions, we decided to get it done at Pixie Forest in Festival Mall, Alabang Muntinlupa City.

Theme: Toy Story

Venue: Pixie Forest, Festival Mall

Caterer: Jikabo Catering Services

Cake: Chef Emily Peralta

Photo Booth: Simply Evolution

Pixie Forest is a kiddie theme park on the third level of Festival Supermall. It offers kids an enchanting time amidst giant flowers and mushrooms in a candy-coloured fairy village. This world of fantasy is filled with rides and games to delight them with. It has 2 venues for Birthday Parties, first is the Picnic Grove and second is the Party Room.

There are 4 party themes, 2 choices for boys and girls. And for my little one’s birthday, I chose Wild West since the theme of my choice is Toy Story.

Package Inclusions:

Invitation Cards

Welcome Streamer
Ride-All-You-Can Tags

Game Tokens (60 pcs)

Party Host
Name Tags

Loot Bags
Gift for the Celebrant

Pixie Forest Birthday Cake – I paid additional 10 pesos for an extra letter to Charly’s name because maximum is 5 letters.

Mascot Appearance
Parlor Game Prizes

It was not easy to call them so I suggest you personally visit them so you can ask questions and reserve your slot immediately. I went to their office 2 months before Charly’s birthday and to my surprise, the Pixie Forest Picnic Grove is fully booked already for the month of August. I had no other choice but to take the Party Room instead. I paid a 50% down payment to reserve and the balance must be paid at least a week before the event.

Birthday Cake provided by Pixie Forest

Just like Pixie Forest, it wasn’t easy to contact Jikabo Catering Services, although they respond, it takes a day or two. So a personal visit to them would be better. I had a problem with them about the tarpaulin because even a day before the birthday, I haven’t received proposed layout. Fortunately, it turned out nice when I saw it on the event. I went for a food tasting about a month before the event date and paid 50% down payment and the balance was paid after the event.

The Pixie Forest has only two accredited cake suppliers. I thought I would get a Goldilocks celebration cake but when I was about to order for one, I was shocked by their pricing. For a rectangular cake with Cars theme, this was the price they quoted me: 2,ooo for the design; 1,150 for 30 pcs. cupcakes & 1,800 for the actual cake. A total of  4,950 pesos.5k for just a cake! I looked for a cake shop and found a pastry Chef through Facebook. For a cake with 40 cupcakes, I paid only 2,750 including the delivery charge. However, I had to pay 500 pesos for corkage fees. Still better than the Goldilocks cake. And the design was according to the theme so I was really satisfied.

They have an accredited supplier which is the Simply Evolution and I took the Economy Package.

All worth it! Anything for my precious one.

    1. Hi Kim, the room we hired is the smaller one so I do not think it can accommodate 140 people. I think the one with the big stage can accommodate about 120 only so it’s worth giving them a call or visiting them and enquire personally.
